My wife and I thought you'd be interested in our story.
In late November, I flew back to the states on business from our temporary home in Kampala, Uganda. On the way back, I purchased an EON ice LED flashlight on a whim. I had thought about how handy it would be to have a flashlight in my wallet all the time.
Three weeks later, in the middle of the night, an intruder cut our power lines and broke into our home. My six-months-pregnant wife saw him first, called out to me and slipped into the guest bedroom. We were locked in separate rooms as this man slashed at our interior doors with a machete. Our only other flashlight was in the front room-- where the intruder was. I can't effectively articulate how frightened we were. It was too dark to see anything. I couldn't find my cellphone and I had no weapon in the bedroom. I remembered where I left my pants, though, where the flashlight your team designed was in my wallet. Because I had the flashlight in my wallet, I was able to find my cellphone and call the police.
