Iain Sinclair

Born in 1943, the London based designer Iain Sinclair specialises in the creation of highly innovative, useful, better products. Having studied fine art and furniture design he worked for leading design groups before starting his own product design consultancy in the mid sixties. Working with a small team of specialist assistants he has designed hundreds of products for numerous companies; furniture and lighting, clocks and watches, tableware, hi-fi equipment, intelligent games computers and other leading edge, electronics based hardware. His work is included in the collections of several museums including the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.He has held chairs in industrial design at London's Royal College of Art and industrial design engineering at Imperial College, London. Iain Sinclair invented the first flat torch and launched Liteblade under his own name in 1991. This was quickly followed by his classic, multi-million selling cardboard torch: Flashcard.

The Iain Sinclair invention Eon, utilising the latest energy saving technology, spearheads his creation of flat LED flashlights.

Further Iain Sinclair branded products in various categories are scheduled for imminent launch and continue his mission to build the Iain Sinclair company on the firm foundation of significantly better products
